Killdeer painting in progress

Here is a photomerge that I did on the current killdeer painting in progress. It will be an 18 x 24 acrylic painting. It's very challenging for me because I don't usually do water and I am trying to put a lake in the scene. Also, I've never done killdeer before, except the chick in colored pencil.

October Different Strokes Project

This is the October project for Wetcanvas's Different Strokes thread. They put up a new project every month for everyone to do in the Acrylic's forum. I had finished this earlier, but could not post it until today. This is a 5.5 x 7.5 acrylic on cardstock.

Waiting for Rain

This is one of the first paintings that I have put into a show as an adult. It is a 16 x 20 acrylic on canvas that was finished in 1998.

Continuing on with Volcan Mountain

I'm still working on this, little by little. Today, a fire started in the area of the subject of the painting, well, really a few miles down the road. This area, near Julian, CA, has had a lot of fires in recent times.

Clark Valley Detail, Painting

This is a close up of a painting that I am selling on my website. It is actually my favorite painting that I've done so far. It was shown at the San Diego County Fair a few years back. The painting is a framed 16 x 20 on canvas.

I think I can call this completed. I may still "tweak" the work in the future to make it more marketable.
