Clark Valley/Rockhouse Canyon Road

This is a photo that wasn't getting much attention on Gather, so I thought I'd post it here. I took this on November 20th out in Clark Valley in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. This is the photo of the road just past the dry lake bed.

Summer in the Desert

Here is another shot from Culp Valley that I took this summer. It was taken with my Pentax k1000 35mm camera.

I didn't work on my painting that much today because I was working with my scanner making composite pictures of my larger works. The scanner gave out and I don't know when it will be working again. I am getting a new scanner next week and hopefully it will work better.

Today is also the anniversary of the September 11th attacks. I don't have any pictures about that right now, or I would have posted that.

I think I can call this completed. I may still "tweak" the work in the future to make it more marketable.

This is a colored pencil drawing in progress of an area in the desert. I think it's Clark Valley. This is done with Prismacolors on Strathmore Drawing Paper, 6 x 8 inches.
