Update on my Kitty Drawing

In case you didn't see it on Gather or Wetcanvas, here is an update to my colored pencil drawing that I am doing. I am going to put it aside for now. Yes, I know there's a lot of work that can still be done, but I want to move on to other things.

Kitty, WIP

I am actually working on this very slowly and don't know when it will be done. This is going to be a 9 x 12 colored pencil on Strathmore paper. I got the image from the Wetcanvas image library.

I decided to do a little more work on this colored pencil drawing. I will put up a progress report on the running horses painting tomorrow.

Artie, Work in Progress.

I am taking part in Wetcanvas's Weekend Drawing Event where someone posts a set of pictures and we all draw or paint a representation of them. It kinda reminds me of when I was an art student and we all would go to a place to do a drawing from real-life.

This is a 6 x 8 colored pencil on paper. It is not completed. I may or may not complete this and post an update.

Work in Progress, Continued.

This is a close-up scan of the work I posted yesterday. I am nearly completed and plan to finish this piece within the week.

Work in Progress, "Ghost", Colored Pencil

This is my first work in progress. It is an 11 x 14 colored pencil on paper of a jaguar in the desert (there used to be jaguars there long ago). Sorry about the quality of the photo, it was photographed and not scanned due to its size.

Tribute to Tiki, Painting in a Day ACEO

This is a picture of my mom's cat Tiki who had cancer and died about a week ago. She was an old Ragdoll and was very large until she got cancer, then she lost a ton of weight really fast and couldn't eat.

This is an ACEO done in acrylics on card stock.
