I am just about done on this acrylic painting. I am currently taking feedback from other artists so that I can put the finishing touches on it.

Desert Pass, Painting in a Day

Hi! I did this painting in one day. It's a 5 x 7 acrylic on Canson's canvas card. I think it's Alcoholic Pass in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.

Continuing on with Volcan Mountain

I'm still working on this, little by little. Today, a fire started in the area of the subject of the painting, well, really a few miles down the road. This area, near Julian, CA, has had a lot of fires in recent times.

Washingtonia Palms, finished?

I decided to go with a yellow sky and noticed, immediately, how it warmed up the painting.

Palms Continued Again

I am nearing the end of this piece. I may carry the painting over the edge or paint the edges black or white. I did not adjust the levels to this scan.

My very first Self Portrait

OK, don't laugh. I've always had a problem doing people's faces and have tried to avoid doing so for many years. I decided that I have to keep practicing. So, here is my self-portrait and painting in a day for today. This is an acrylic on card stock 5 1/2 x 7 1/2.

Pinyon Avenue ACEO, Painting in a Day

This is an acrylic ACEO on card stock. I call it Pinyon Avenue for the plants in the foreground.

I just bought myself some Canson Canva-Paper and plan to use those for my painting ACEOs from now on. I will still use card stock for my drawing ACEOs.

On Auction Now:
