In the Desert This Morning

I went out to the desert this morning and took this photo of my car at the Carrizo Badlands Overlook in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.

Sunset on El Cajon Blvd.

I took this last Monday at sunset at College and El Cajon Blvd. I think the settings were f/13 at 8 seconds. My car is the only one not moving on the side of the road.

College at El Cajon Blvd

This is another shot I took last night near the entrance to the pizza shop on the corner of El Cajon and College Ave. This was taken at 8 sec with f/16 and a 50mm lens.

El Cajon Blvd. Shot

I took this tonight at College and El Cajon. I have several more that I can post, too. This one was taken a 8 sec at f/16 with a 50mm lens. The large streaks are a bus that passed by during that time.

Streaking Headlights, Photo for today.

I had a nice little acrylic painting all ready to go, but after working with the scanner for two hours, I couldn't get it working. So, since I do not scan my photographs, I will be adding a photo every day until I can either get to another place to scan my artwork, or get this scanner working again. Often, it will work itself out in a couple of days. I will keep working on the problem.

Meanwhile, enjoy today's photo. This is a 35mm photo, aperture priority.

Happy 4th of July!

Hi, this is one of last year's fireworks pictures. I don't know if I'm going to go out and take pictures for this year. But, I should because it is the first time I have an all-manual camera to create some very artistic effects.
