Mission Trails Park

Hello.  I took this photo a couple of weeks ago in the area between Fortuna Mountain and the Rim Trail.  I believe it's called Suycutt Wash or something like that.  It's a little valley between the two rims.

Vernal Pools

These were the vernal pools from earlier this year at Mission Trails Park up on the Rim Trail. I couldn't get any closer than this those. These pools often have fish, tadpoles, and other life in them, but only for a short amount of time.

Happy Easter!

Muddy Trail

We've been having a bit of rain here. While I was at Mission Trails Park, I spotted this drying mud on the Rim Trail. It hadn't rained in a few days, but it was still wet.

Path to East Mission Trails Park

This is a picture of the path to east Mission Trails Park. It was taken with automatic settings. One has to be careful taking pictures here as you never know when someone is going to go down this path on their bike at 30mph or more.
